When do we cancel events due to weather?
Toronto’s weather systems are complex and often fast moving. Our administrative team works with several weather reporting companies in order to best predict incoming weather systems that may cause us to cancel an event. Just because there is rain predicted for the day of your event does not mean that it will be raining during your event as Toronto’s weather systems move in and out very quickly. If we feel that your event is going to be rained out our our admin team will do our best to contact you via the email address you provided when booking to let you know as soon as possible that your event has been cancelled and you will receive a full credit or a refund is also available. Note: We do not cancel events if there are mild showers.

How old must someone be to participate?
Anyone Under the Age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian/Adult accompany them at all times on the water. Waivers will also need to be signed. There must be an adult to child ratio of 1:4 if the children are under 12 years of age. From ages 12-18 we require a 1:5 adult to youth ratio. We have lifejackets starting at 20 pounds and are fully adjustable.
Single Kayak – Minimum 8 Years of age.
Tandem Kayak, Regular Canoe, Large Canoe – Must have 1 Adult though the second passenger can be as young as 1 year of age!
Stand Up Paddleboards – Minimum 12 Years of age.
How do I make a reservation?
You can book yourself in anytime right on our website! Simply find the event you wish to participate, find the date & time that works for you and follow our easy online booking steps to complete your booking.

Can I just show up and book?
You can try to show up and book a boat however we’re usually very busy so if you show up without a reservation there is a good chance that there will be no spaces left for you. Online will show you live availability and will allow you to book until the event start time! With the current COVID-19 climate, we will no longer be accepting cash on location and will only accept Visa or MasterCard Debit/Credit, the same as through the website.
Can I bring my pet?
We allow well-behaved pets on our boats as long as the boats come back clean and in similar condition. Unfortunately we only have human lifejackets, lifejackets are not required for pets but if your pet has their own lifejacket, feel free to bring it along!
